SRT AIS Aid to Navigation (AtoN) units are IALA compliant beacons designed to be installed on fixed or floating aids to navigation such as buoys and markers, navigational hazards, offshore wind farms, oil and gas platforms/pipelines, etc. This enhances their operation by alerting any AIS equipped vessels that are within range, while also providing additional data such as position, current status, real time warnings and reducing the risk of collision even in poor visibility.
There are four models available:
Carbon and Chronos units include GPS antennas and are supplied with the necessary cables and connectors. External VHF antennas are optional. Buoy-trak and Express units include integrated VHF and GPS antennas. Necessary installation accessories and software for configuration, testing and maintenance are included. Carbon & Chronos AtoNs can also be linked with a range of sensors, providing up to the minute hydrological, meteorological and other environmental data to the shore station. This real-time data can be used for a wide variety of purposes apart from navigational use including environmental protection and monitoring, navigation study and analysis, economic optimisation and more.
CARBON is an internationally certified Type 1 and Type 3 AIS AtoN with the world’s lowest power consumption.
CHRONOS is an internationally certified Type 1 and Type 3 AIS Aton with the world’s lowest power consumption.
EXPRESS is a fully certified and integrated Type 1 AIS AtoN with an internal rechargeable battery.
BUOY-Tracker, enables you to electronically mark any type of fishing buoy.
